Peabody – Mrs. Carol J. (Kirsch) Robbins of Peabody, formerly of Waltham, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 in Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was 46.
Carol was born in Boston, on June 16, 1965 a daughter of Louis J. Kirsch, III and the late Jane (Zeiter) Kirsch. She was raised in Waltham and had been a lifelong resident before moving to Peabody six years ago. She was a 1983 graduate of Waltham High School and had attended the University of Vermont before graduating from Bentley College in Waltham. Carol worked as a payroll manager for American Renal Associates of Beverly. She and her family spent many happy summers in North Ferrisburg, Vermont. Carol became an avid sports fan over the years and she and her husband Steve played golf whenever they could in the warm weather.
In addition to her father, she leaves her husband, Stephen F. Robbins; her children, Stephen F. Robbins, Jr. and Heather M. Robbins, both of Peabody; her brother, John L. Kirsch and his wife, Kelly, of Marlborough, her mother-in-law, Patricia Robbins of Waltham; her sister- in- law, Michelle Tracanna and her husband, Gino, of Waltham and several nieces and nephews.
Carol was also the daughter-in-law of the late William F. Robbins.
Family and friends will honor and remember Carol's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, December 30th, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Saturday morning in Immanuel United Methodist Church, 545 Moody Street, Waltham where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the spring in North Ferrisburg Cemetery, N. Ferrisburg, Vermont.
