Mr. Peter D. Tousignant, of Waltham, died on Monday, February 20, 2018 in Maristhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waltham. He was 90.

He was a manufacturing engineer who retired from Baird Atomic. During his free time, he enjoyed going to Foxwoods with his wife, spending time with his family, and going to dinner at the Chateau. Peter was friendly, well liked by all and was a fantastic story teller. He enjoyed civil war history, shopping for a good bargain and teaching his grandchildren math tricks. Kendrick of Hopkinton and Jean M. Claffey (Mark) of Burlington and Chatham; his grandchildren, William Yundt (Laura), Lucy Diluiso (Michael), Amy Franklin (Joshua), Leah Dubie (Megan Reath), Allison Harrington (Matthew), Anne Maguire (Patrick), Sarah Kendrick, Jason Claffey (Leslie), Jenna Carey (Greg), Megan Claffey and Rachel Claffey and also leaves five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late John Tousignant.
