Mr. Paul J. Arsenault, of Billerica, died on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 in The Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading, Massachusetts after a courageous battle with an incurable glioblastoma grade IV brain tumor. He was 67.

Paul was born on May 13, 1952 in Newton, MA, a son of the late Tilmon and Florence (Pellerin) Arsenault. Raised in Waltham, MA, he was a graduate of Waltham High School. Paul worked in sales for numerous companies, most recently with General Electric in Billerica, MA.

He will be remembered by everyone who had the privilege to know him as a kind, honest, reliable and gentle man with a wonderful sense of humor and style. He also had a strong personality, a man with great courage who always stood for, helped and protected his loved ones. He will be remembered as an intelligent person, whose knowledge in many areas of business exceeded the knowledge of college graduate professionals. Paul enjoyed the simple things in life – short trips in New England to discover "hidden" natural wonders; the beauty and the sounds of the ocean; a glass of red wine and a good home made dinner; spending holidays with his sister and her extended family; camping and fishing with his nephew; going out for breakfast, watching all New England sports teams or listening to music in good company; a good movie; a good book. Most of all, he loved people and everyone loved him too.

Paul leaves his longtime soul mate and companion of 18 years, Oksana Gvozdyak of Billerica; his siblings, Roger (Margorie) Arsenault of Newton, Norma (Walter) Doucette of Melbourne Beach, Florida, Brother Henry Arsenault, a Trappist Monk, currently residing in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, and Linda (Carl) Logiudice of Bellingham, and the late Iroy (Marie) Arsenault; his nieces and nephews and their families, Wayne, Kevin, and James Arsenault, Donna Ferrara, John Arsenault, Diane Muizulis, Susan Newton, Sharon Logiudice, Jennifer Koven and the late Michael and David Doucette and his late goddaughter Lori Arsenault.

Paul's family will gather privately at Christ the King Ukrainian Catholic Church in Jamaica Plain, MA, followed by his burial at Saint Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA. A Life Celebration will be announced and held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Shriners Hospitals for Children Boston, 51 Blossom St. Boston, MA 02114.
