Waltham, MA – Mrs. Muoi Chang Le died on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Sawtelle Family Hospice in Reading with her family by her side. She was 58.

She was born December 12, 1958 in Hà Côi, Vietnam. Daughter of Luc Chang and the late Luong Lam, they immigrated to the United States in 1982 settling in Waltham.

Affectionately known as 'Mama Le', she will be remembered for her big smile, spunk, and huge heart. She was a loyal daughter, a loving wife and remarkable mother. Her passion was her family and nothing brought her more joy than caring for her loved ones.

She leaves her devoted husband, Cuong Le, of Waltham and their four daughters, Jennifer Le, of San Francisco, Diana Shieh and her husband, Stephen Shieh of Boston, Donna Le and her husband, Frank Virga of New York City and Paula Le of Boston; her siblings, San Chang of Waltham, Michael Chang of Lexington, Jimmy Chang of Newton, Nicole Chang of Waltham, Lynn Chang of California, David Chang of Newton, Steven Chang of Waltham and the late Sonny Chang; also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Her family offers words of gratitude to all the medical staff at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, Massachusetts for your years of service.

Family and friends will honor and remember Muoi Le's life by gathering for calling hours in the Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Wednesday, September 27th, from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
