Mr. Lawrence D. 'Larry' Clough, of Waltham, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in Newton –Wellesley Hospital after being stricken ill. He was 61.

He was born on July 11, 1955 in Waltham a son of Jane H. (Ziemba) Clough and the late David E. Clough. Raised and educated in Waltham he was a graduate of Waltham High School and earned his Bachelor's degree from University of Massachusetts – Amherst.

Larry was still working as a supervisor for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) based in Westwood. He also owned and operated Clough Irrigation Company. His hobbies included collecting model cars, trucks and trains.

He leaves his mother, Jane Clough of Waltham and his brother, Ronald M. Clough of Hingham; several cousins and friends.

Family and friends will honor and remember Larry's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Sunday, June 11th from 3 to 6 p.m. and again on Monday afternoon at Pine Grove Cemetery, Maple Street, Warren where his graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Please go directly to the cemetery.
