Waltham – Mrs. Laurette M. LeBlanc, of Waltham, died on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington. She was 81 years old.

Laurette was born on February 10, 1940 to the late Aurele and Sarah (Gaudet) LeBlanc in Saint-Antoine, New Brunswick. Following her marriage to Raymond LeBlanc, the pair immigrated to the United States and lived for a short time in Gardner and Leominster before making Waltham their home in 1962. Laurette enjoyed a lengthy career at Hewlett-Packard in Waltham. After retirement she went back to school and started her own electrolysis business.

Ray and Laurette quickly settled into their adopted home becoming active and faithful parishioners of Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church and proud members of the French-American Victory Club.

Above all, Laurette was a devoted wife and mother, and loved being with her family.

In addition to her husband, Ray, she leaves her sons, John O. LeBlanc of Waltham and Paul D. LeBlanc (Patricia Cormier) of Waltham; her grandchildren, Paul LeBlanc, Jr. and Angel LeBlanc; her sister Georgeline LeBlanc and is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Leslie 'Les' LeBlanc and Maurice LeBlanc.

Family and friends will honor and remember Laurette's life by gathering in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, July 9th from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon.
