Mrs. Dorilla 'DeeDee' (Belliveau) (DeSaulniers) Orleans, of Waltham, died peacefully on Wednesday February 12, 2020 in Maristhill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 100 years old.

DeeDee was born in Memramcook, New Brunswick on September 6, 1919, the daughter of the late Patrick and Alice (Leger) Belliveau. As a child the family moved to Waltham where she attended St. Pierre's Elementary and St. Mary's High School. She was involved in the Ladies Guild at the former Saint Joseph's Church and later became a parishioner at Saint Jude's Church. She was crafty by nature and enjoyed both crocheting and knitting. She was a wonderful and loving mother. Some of her children's happiest memories came from their weekly get togethers at DeeDee's home over the last twenty years, always on Friday nights, where they would share in a meal and fellowship.

She was the wife of the late Albert Orleans and is survived by her children, Dorothy A. Butler (Ray) of Marlborough, Ronald L. DeSaulniers (late Deborah) of Waltham, Patricia A. DeSaulniers of Waltham, Paul R. DeSaulniers (Gail) of Marlborough and Dave M. DeSaulniers of Sterling; her sister, Alice Hart and also leaves 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was also the sister of the late Amedee Belliveau, Theresa Doherty, Geneva O'Brien and Jeannette Prescott.

Family and friends will honor and remember DeeDee's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Monday, February 17th from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Jude Church, 147 Main Street, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Danvers, MA 01923.
