Mrs. Anna G. (Gallo) DiGregorio, of Waltham, died Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Carleton Willard Village in Bedford surrounded by family. She was 91.

Anna was born in Lynn on July 1, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Jean (Barbaro) Gallo. She was raised and educated in East Boston and on May 4, 1947 she married fellow East Boston native Vincent M. DiGregorio.

In 1957 the pair settled in Waltham where they would raise their family and live ever since. Nothing was more important to Anna than spending time with her family. She loved when Sunday came and all gathered to enjoy her home-cooked meals. She had worked at the Clevite Company, at Wal-Lex Bowling Alley and at the cafeteria of Hewlett-Packard until her retirement.

She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent M. DiGregorio who died on December 14, 2014 and is survived by her children, Linda J. Fedele of Bedford, Donna M. Medaglia of Lowell and Vincent M. DiGregorio, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Port Richey, Florida; her grandchildren, Troy Medaglia, Richard Fedele and his wife, Caroline, Brian Fedele and his wife, Gina, and Michael DiGregorio and his wife, Laura; her great-grandchildren, Shayla, Richard, Ryder, Alyssa Marie, James, Emma Rose and Gianna and many nieces and nephews.

She was also the sister of the late Connie Viscione and Benny Gallo.

Family and friends will honor and remember Anna's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte. 20), Waltham on Friday, August 31st from 4 to 8 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Watertown.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 33 Myrtle Street, Waltham, MA 02453.
