Waltham – Mrs. Agnes T. (Fowler) Dupuis, of Waltham, died Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington. She was 88.

Agnes was born in Cambridge on March 9, 1931, one of seven children born to the late James and Laura (Shea) Fowler. She lived in Watertown before moving to Waltham more than twenty years ago. Prior to her retirement she worked at the Raytheon Company and at Honeywell for many years.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; spending time with family was one of her life's greatest joys and she cherished every opportunity to spend time with her loved ones. She delighted in gathering them around and sharing laughs and memories—with a quick wit and keen sense of humor, she could get a laugh out of just about anyone.

Agnes also loved the Boston Red Sox and enjoyed her weekly television programs. Her patience and creative talent were the perfect combination for her beautiful crocheted blankets that she made for her children and later for her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games on her computer and iPad and would text loving morning greetings each day to her family.

She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She was the devoted wife of the late Joseph R. "Larry" Dupuis for sixty-three years before his death on August 1, 2012. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also reunited with her brothers, the late John, George, and James Fowler.

She leaves her children, Donna Rossi (Victor), Diane McDonough (Patrick), William Dupuis (Eric), and Deven Zipp (Allyson); her grandchildren, Adam Sampson (Becky), Heather Pini (Leonard), Jessica Rossi, Jarred Rossi (Lisa), and Emily McDonough; her great-grandchildren, Ariana DeFelice, Ashley Sampson, Matthew Pini, Gabriella Pini, Olivia Pini, Rylee Sampson, and Cameron Sampson; her siblings, Kenneth Fowler, Mary Cunniff, and Loretta Powers.

Family and friends will honor and remember Agnes' life by gathering on Tuesday, February 25, at Our Lady Comforter of the Afflicted Church, 880 Trapelo Road, Waltham, where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
