Condolence & Memory Journal

We're so sorry for your loss. Words cannot describe the anguish one goes through in such times. What's helped me personally is Revelation 22:3,4 which talks about a brighter future for mankind. Much love to the family and friends

We had the pleasure of knowing Gerry as a friend and next-door neighbor. Gerry was always in a good mood and excited to show you his most recent vase, bowl or other woodworking endeavor. Anytime I needed a hand with some random project or another he was the first to grab his tools and happily help. Emelia and Renee please know Gerry will be greatly missed and that our thoughts and prayers are with you both. Love Lee & Christine

Gerald and I started our relationship as Handyman and customer. I knew Gerry was special when our dog who barked at all strangers, not only did not bark, he wagged his tail and went right to him.

We were friends and I quickly realized why. My dad was a good guy without a mean bone in his body....so was Gerry. Will miss stopping by sitting on his porch talking...

Gérald était un homme gentil, bon, vaillant, accueillant, il était un vrai GENTLEMAN. Il avait toujours un beau sourire. Gérald repose maintenant dans les bras du Seigneur, il est en paix. Que Dieu vous bénisse.

We are still trying come to grip with the fact that Gerald is gone to a better place. We are so sorry for your loss Emelia & Renee! We've witnessed many times his kind and gentle soul during those many trips and vacations that we've had together. The way he teased you and Renee was his way of expressing his love. We will cherish forever these memories. Gerald had a zest for life, wanting to see and experience as much as he could of this world. He lived life to the fullest. He really stayed true to his roots. Just two weeks ago, he was saying to Gerard that he couldn't wait to come to Canada in the fall to travel the back roads of Ste-Marie and go blueberry picking. Emelia & Renée, rest assured that his spirit will stay with you both. He will be taking care of you both. He is now surely exploring this world he is into. He has a lot of relatives and friends to visit. He is now close to the flowers, mountains, valleys, sunsets and rainbows that he loved so much. We are so sorry not to be with you during this difficult time, due to circonstances beyond our control. Rest assured that our hearts are there with you. We love you so much!

Emelia and Renee my heart is really torn. He was such a good man, a BIG BIG heart, caring and giving and always there to help. Heaven certainly gained an angel when he came through the Pearly Gates. He will always watch over you two and Renee never forget, you were his little princess and he loved you and your mom with all his heart. I will miss him sooo much, his long phone calls, his jokes, his music that he always made me write down and go check it out on computer. He is with the others who all left us too soon. May God guide and help you both through your sorrow. We all love you too!

Life Stories

Gerry was a man with a big heart. Loved to help people who was in need. Was great with the phone calls about sharing music and his hobbies. His love of music started way back when he was just a kid. And oh how he loved to tease. Had such great conversations in our calls. He always made me laugh so much. You will be sorely missed, rest in peace little brother.

I have never met a man who loved music more than he did. He used to call me a lot just so i could listen to a song he'd found on computer. I live in New Brunswick and he was in Waltham. He had the biggest heart , and his passion was to help and give to people in need. He was a perfectionist at everything he did. I so proud to say he was my brother, i will forever cherish this man, I love you so much Gerald, Rest In Peace
