To all the members of the Iandoli family,
I just learned the sad news that John Sr has passed away. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. As a teenager when I ran/worked at the snack bar at the MYC he would meet with me and we'd order the food. He was always so nice to me. I know he will be missed greatly. Please know my thoughts are with you all. Now he is resting in peace with your mom. XOXO

John was my mentor, in the Food Industry, for 25 years, while working for Iandoli Super Markets. John taught me most of what I knew of the industry and any success I had in my 50 years in this industry I owe to John. John was a real "taskmaster" firm but always very fair and supportive. I attended may functions with John and the rest of the Iandoli crew. Being the youngest, at that time, he always threw me the car keys. I recall a couple of fishing trips that were adventurous and a lot of fun, need I say more !
I know John will be missed by all that came in contact with him, especially his family.

John was a GREAT guy and always a Marine.

"SEMPER FI" Rest in peace

Mr Iandoli and his brothers were very kind gentlemen. In 1974-75, they gave jobs to"graduating students" from the Mercy Center School. The school's special needs students who were able to work got a job. My brother Bill Zona was one of those students. Bill started at Iandoli's Mkt, then Food Village, then the Iandoli family sold to Shaws Markets. Bill is still there after 44 years, transferring from Gold Star Blvd. store to the Shrewsbury Shaws when he and his parents moved to Shrewsbury in 1990. I always thing of the Iandoli family and thank them for their kindness at that time. Thank you to John Iandoli for giving Bill a purpose. May he rest in peace.

I have so many wonderful memories of John during time spent at The Flying Bridge in Falmouth and on his boat the "Mrs. I" with son Jim as Captain in the 80's and 90's. A true soft spoken and generous gentleman. He was one of a kind. Rest in Peace, John, and condolences and blessings to the family.
