Nerva always provided a friendly and warm environment in his work space. I will miss seeing him and being greeted with care and connection. Sending warm wishes to his family and loved ones!

I knew Nerva for a long time as a student at Brandeis University. I saw him at all hours of the day, and always appreciated the work he did at 1 in the morning when I needed a late-night snack from the Brandeis C-store. Once, I was very tired and ordering food from the C-store. He reached out his hand, silently reminding me to give him my ID card, and instead I misinterpreted his gesture and gave him a high-five.

Nerva has touched the hearts of so many on campus, and I'm grateful to all the Brandeis students who returned the kindness and energy that he gave us. I pray for him and his family. Thank you for your late nights at the c-store, the smiles, and the friendliness that is unforgettable.

A kind and shining soul in a world where kind souls are needed. God bless him, may he rest in peace and may his memory forever be a blessing and merit to all who knew him.

I was often in the middle of a stressful day when I made a frantic C Store run, but Nerva was always patient with my chaos and ready with a smile and a friendly conversation that made me feel calmer and happier when I left. I hope he knew how much he meant to the whole school.

My experience at Brandeis just would not have been the same without Nerva. His kindness, genuine interest in others' wellbeing and generosity were truly remarkable. He always gave the best advice and maintained a great sense of optimism. Nerva touched so many lives for so many years, and I am so grateful to have known him.

There is little that could be as heartwarming as going to the C Store and seeing Nerva. No matter the hour, he would always be so kind, talkative, and looking to uplift our spirits. A person like that is hard to come by. Undoubtedly, there is a Nerva shaped hole in the community and he will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

Nerva was kind, generous, and just always smiling. Always made my day brighter, especially on some tough days. Always willing to crack a joke and a smile, and chat a bit. Such a positive presence--rest in peace.
