Belinda and family,
My deepest condolences and sympathy. I was shocked and saddened when I received the news from a contact at Shire. Words cannot express the loss and sadness. He will be greatly missed. Please know, Belinda, that you and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am very saddened by the news of Henri's passing. I worked at Genzyme from 2000-2012. Henri meant so much to Genzyme and its employees, to the biotechnology community as a whole and, most importantly, to the children with rare diseases who would have never had a chance to be treated without Henri's vision. He will be missed but never forgotten.

So saddened at the loss of this great leader. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Belinda and the family.
To our Genzyme family, we are sorry that we won't be able to attend the memorial, but we are there in spirit.
Henri, thank you for all that you did, and may you rest in peace.

As a Genzyme employee, I will always remember seeing his friendly face in the halls at Allston Landing. He built a wonderful company. He will be missed. Condolences to the family.

Dear Belinda and Termeer Family,
we are so sorry to hear of your loss. We joined Genzyme Germany in 1998 and 2001, when we still were a small group of people in Alzenau. We met Henri a couple of times, always warm-hearted, caring, a good listener and a mentor. He was a charismatic leader, humanity and for us he was Genzyme.

We will never forget him and we are happy to have had the chance to meeting him

Our sincerest condolences

I am deeply saddened having learned of Henri's passing. The world has lost a great. I spoke with Henri in recent weeks about a special project of interest re rare diseases. As always, Henri was there with his support, stellar experience and great wisdom. Our hero in the rare disease community, you are sorely missed, my friend... and fellow "Wahoo."

To the family: Our hearts, thoughts, love, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you.

Henri influenced me to move to Boston from Detroit MI and establish my First biotech public company next to him at Kendall square.

I am deeply saddened to hear the passing of a true catalyzing person and visionary. I am a Type 1 Gaucher patient who has been fortunate to benefit from Mr. Termeer's humane compassion, his persistence, and his perseverance to help those afflicted with this difficult disease. I remember Mr. Termeer participating in these webinars, whereby patients would call in after the webinar and were able to ask questions of the participants of the webinars and at times, Mr. Termeer attended

Dear Belinda and Adriana,
Words cannot express how deeply sorry we all are with the loss of Henri. To say he was a great man is an understatement. He touched so many lives and facilitated possibilities for so many. His generosity, warmth, and passion were infectious. He was such an inspiring individual and the support and guidance he lent me and the North Shore Studio will always be remembered.
