Dear Belinda,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of loss. It was so nice to have all the memories of Henri at the wake and the celebration of life services; he was such a force of good in this world. And so many came by to share even more thoughts of times past.
For you, I remember Henri coming to the IG 30th as your "plus one"; it was so good to catch up with you both there in and I will forever think of him dancing with you.
God bless,
Kathy

Belinda and Family,

I worked with Henri at Baxter when we both lived in Los Angeles. That was over 35 years ago, when we were young. It was obvious to me that Henri had a bright future in the business world. His move to Genzyme was all he needed to realize his potential. I had dinner with Henri more than once at his home in Los Angeles. He was a gracious host and a kind and compassionate man.

While we

My late son Steve Morgan was married to a Genzyme employee. When Steve died unexpectedly of a heart attack at age 34 leaving his wife Michelle, three children and a small business, Mr. Termeer kindly took the time to come to Milford to attend the calling hours. We were so appreciative of the generosity of time and effort that Mr. Termeer gave to all of us, family, co-workers, neighbors, friends, classmates and all who knew and loved Steve. Thank you

I hardly knew YOU Henri, but the YOU I knew was a kind, gentle, and caring man. Your passing leaves the world of medical research a tall order to continue your work, but your legacy will carry on for decades. Your 71 years were well spent, rest in peace.

There are simply no words that can adequately convey our deep and abiding sorrow for your loss, and frankly for all those who
knew Henri. His passion for those in need and for the promise of humankind's tomorrow-in the arts, political leadership, and the beautification of the world leave such an overwhelming void. However, in Belinda, Nicholas, Sophie, and Adriana, Henri leaves a profound legacy and one that will not diminish his ambitious and hopeful agenda. We pray that they

Dear Belinda,
I was fortunate to have worked almost 10 years for Genzyme under the leadership of Henri, first in Europe and then in Cambridge. I have so many memories, so many stories, I feel privileged to have worked for him and will never forget all I have learned from him. My thoughts are with you and your family.

To Henri and his family,

Henri and Genzyme were critical in the transformation of biologics for rare diseases from lab experiments into real therapies for people. The bold experiment that was Ceredase was more important than the orphan drug act in fostering the investment in rare and ultra-rare disease therapies with so many approved today. My early years on Aldurazyme would have led to nothing if Ceredase and Cerezyme had not been so successful, and those bold experiments led to the

Those of us who have spent much of our careers in the biotech field consider Henri as one of our leaders, in fact the leader in the Boston area.

Henri, like Bob Swanson of Genentech, have been taken from us to soon.

Belinda - So sorry, my dear friend. Life is fragile and beyond our understanding however trust that Henri will continue to be a positive force on this Earth for all his good deeds. You have been a gentle woman always and dedicated wife to Henri. May his legacy and your good memories bring some consolation and peace to you, Adriana, Nicholas and family. God Bless you.
